Our class is looking for a few pumpkins. We will be using them next week for a few fun science, math and homecoming activities. A variety of sizes would be great! Please let me know if you are willing to help with this. Thank you!

Math Help-Partners

Here is a video that explains what partners are on your child's math homework


As you know, lunch is free for all students this year. However, if your child brings cold lunch and would like a milk, they need to purchase one. There has been some confusion (on everyone's part) about this. Please let me know if you have questions!

Homecoming Parade

The homecoming parade will be at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. We will be going to watch the parade as a class. Please let me know if you plan on watching the parade with us.

that letter. Some ideas might be duct

tape, paint, and paper to make the letter

on their shirts.)

 Come in your best orange and black!!

Reach The Peak

Reach the Peak info for announcements:

All Students, Parents, Community Members & School Staff!

The A+ Annual Fundraiser: Reach the Peak is scheduled for Saturday, October 10th at Nordic Mountain. It includes a 1 mile kids fun run, 5K run/walk, 15K run and a 1 mile family stroll. Affordable spaghetti dinner sponsored by Christianos on Friday, Oct. 9th at Nordic too! Come out and participate or volunteer at the race!

All proceeds from the race and dinner go to the A+ After School Program for scholarships and enrichment activities :)

The School with the highest percentage of students involved gets a pizza party (for the participating students only). The school with the highest percentage of staff involvement is awarded the “Stinky Shoe” Award for the year.

Use the form (in teacher mailboxes on Friday, Sept. 4th) to register or register online at active.com. Register by September 15th to be guaranteed a t-shirt (kids run) or long sleeve performance shirt (5K and 15K participants)!
